presented by special guest Walter Merker
Walter Merker is a long-time herpetologist who recently moved to the Las Vegas area from Northern California. He maintains a diverse collection of reptiles and amphibians, but has a special interest in Phyllomedusine frogs from Central and South America and lizards native to the southwestern United States. Walter received a BS in Molecular, Cell and Developmental Biology from UC Santa Cruz in 2005 and has recently graduated from the UC Davis School of Veterinary Medicine. He is an associate veterinarian at Sunridge Animal Hospital in Henderson. He is also a co-
author of the popular book "Zonata" and there will be at least one copy of the book in the raffle. If you already have a copy bring it along to be autographed.


The General Meetings are held at the UNLV Coop,
8050 Paradise Road, Suite 100, Las Vegas,  Nevada 89123
located at the corner of Paradise Road and Windmill (Exit Windmill from the 215)
 Follow the sidewalk on the entrance gate side to the second building
